This is my childhood ! 16 Jalan Aliran

When I was younger, I used to love going to my grandma's house because its typically a kampong where they grew vegetables, draw water from the well and you wake up to the sound of the rooster every morning. That was my most memorable childhood. As we grow older and migrate to living in the concrete jungle, we begin to lose touch with many of my cousins and relatives. The only time that we really get to meet up is during chinese new year when we visit each other or when someone passed away. That changed when one of my cousin decided that we should make it a yearly affair to organise a gathering. That was 3 years back and cousins and nephews who were in oversea came back for our yearly gathering. And as the years goes by, the idea of having a community blog evolved and that was how aliran.ning.com was born. As my cousin aptly put it :

16 Jalan Aliran is the name of the place where we used to stay and that was used to setup this community blog. I din realised the whole family clan reaches about 80 people in total...Check out the rustic photos here and you may be able to spot me somewhere.. This is my childhood.
