Super Sporty Sunday and My New Bike !

Mum, 2 months back I posted that I joined a National Cycling and Skating event. Today is the day. I finally got the bike that I ordered. It was raining this morning and I was contemplating if I should go but glad I did. It was just a passing shower. When I reached Paya Lebar Air Base to pick up the new bike, the place was already crowded with people on their bikes, childrens and ladies on their blades raring to go. The weather was sizzling hot. The place is so huge, by the time I finished the 20KM leisure ride, I was perspiring profusely and I salute those endurance riders who attempted the 42KM.

I even saw a parent on his blades pushing the baby pram down the runway. Check this guy in red pushing his baby who is inside the pram. !

It was a fun day but what wasnt fun was that I had to huff and puff and cycle another 20KM back home. So literally I did manage 40KM. haha..To top it all I went swimming with Sanny after that. It sure was a super sporty sunday. I send my friends this message on my way back home :)

Lesson 1 - Don't try cycling 20KM in Paya Lebar Air Base and cycle another 20KM back home
Lesson 2 - Try not to work the previous day from 6am to 3pm
Lesson 3 - Get your boss to go with you.
Lesson 4 - Dont go swimming after that. :)

It must have been a fulfilling and satisfying day. I remembered I have once joined an island wide cycling trip organised by NTU back in 2000 and we cycled more than 100km all over Singapore. Boy, it was tiring but end of the day I must admit that I totally enjoyed the experience.

This is BK here. Not sure if you still remember me. I happened to chance upon this blog of yours when I was trying to verified a story I received about the Sichuan Quake. It really has been years since we last met in Philippines.

Hi BK
Yes BK. I remembered you. How could I forget the group Victor, You, and many others who stayed in Philippines for our Belair business. It was quite an experience for most of us. Thanks for visiting and leaving your comment. Quite surprise toIappear in the Google Search Engines index for my Si Chuan Quake Story.

The internet is an interesting place. Lots of surprises. I have read your newer post and found that you are into affiliate marketing too? I have been doing or rather still experimenting with it. Although I have joined the program, I have not received anything only until recently. Nothing impressive though.
